I have again received a note from Katrien and some photos of their Sam (kitten Millie born February 17, 2009). Sam is doing very well and until recently she has been spayed. When a cat is in heat you need to use ear plugs;-). The sound they made drives you insane. But Sam gladly recovered really fast. Sam is - as you can see – walking in the snow for the first time in her life! Katrien, thanks for the update and the pictures! I am glad that Sam is doing so well.
I Also received another nice picture of Chaplin & Linneke from Viv. Aren’t they sitting sweet next to each other?! Viv, thanks for this nice picture and I hope you will succeed visiting me and our kittens soon.
Sam and Marilyn are doing very well. They are so very font of meat (can food) that they will run for it when we held their plate. They do have guts to eat between all those big cats, but gladly my our other cats respect them. Also, they love attention. They love to be cuddled and played with.
The kittens of Macy and Mia become more playful and cuddly every day. When I hug them and talk to them, they begin to shout and scream to me! Like "Pick me up! Give me attention! "So cute! I go sitting in their crate with part of my body and they crawl all over me. That will be something when they are bigger! Must say that their room is so dusty. You need to clean their room every day, because so many cats in such a small space and also litter trays which are very dusty also ... You won’t believe what you see! Cleaning is a daily task that I am not font of ;-). Since Friday Maya and her kittens are now permanently moved to our living room. Maya was not so sweet to the kittens of Macy and Mia. She became quite nervous now their kittens are walking around in their room. Fortunately, Sam and Marilyn are exemplary. They have not dug in my plants or chew on our wiring. Well fingers crossed that it stays that way ;-). Once the little ones of Mia and Macy are somewhat bigger, they also will get more space. But for now, their little room is a whole new world for them.
Friday afternoon Laura, Ron and their children, Fleur and Merel paid me a visit. Very nice people and they are also coming from my home town Amersfoort! It was very nice meeting them and the kittens have received a lot of hugs. With great difficulty, they finally came to a choice. Yes, it is not easy to choose out of so many kittens when they are so similar. They have chosen kitten 3 of Macy (the female with the short tail) and kitten 4 of Mia (for now the smallest and darkest male). They still need to think of a good name. They already had a few, but the whole family needs to like the names chosen. I want to thank Ron and Laura and their two little daughters once again for the adoption of these 2 kittens and I hope to see them soon.
Saturday Annemarie and Wim paid me a visit too. It is nice when you finally meet someone in person. Annemarie choose kitten 1 from Mia and she will call him Leevie. Annemarie had no hard time choosing this kitten. She had choose Leevi by his fur (the pattern). Annemarie I want to thank you once again for the adoption of Leevie and I know he will have a great life living with you!
Also Mireille, Rene, Sharon and Jeremy joined me Saturday. They wanted to see their Bumper again. And finally there is something to see, because the kittens are so full of live now! My cats and I are very happy with their visits. Since all our cats and kittens got a lot of attention. Yes, they are all animal lovers and they get along with cats so well. I must say. Thanks again for visiting us and hope to see you soon!
