Unfortunately Macy and Mia aren’t pregnant. I was so looking forward having kittens again. Never had this happened before. Three times in a row no pregnancy. But everything had to be a first time. Never take things for granted. But I am so looking forward raising kittens again that the first cat in heat may spend some times with one of our males;-).

I received a nice picture of Viv of Linneke&Chaplin. Also a few pictures of Alwin his Buddha together with Shiva his dog. And at last a few pictures of Erica of her Churchill and their new kitten McKenzie. Thank you all! This will perk up my website!

I am afraid that Macy isn't pregnant. There is still no change in her nipples nor in size or color. But I still have my hopes on Mia. She had spent some time with Brutus, but I didn't hear or see anything... So I don't know if they 'succeeded'. But we will see. If not there will be a next time. It is always so much fun having kittens. When Macy and Mia aren't pregnant I will try again when they get in heat again.

Yesterday, Hennie and I visited Mike and Viv in Belgium. We had a lovely day and so much to talk about. We also received a delicious lunch! So nice! It had been a busy year for Viv and Mike with a complete renovation on their home. But the result is beautiful! The house is so nice and tight, and the garden? Well, I can only dream of such a lovely and big garden. A swimming pool, a simple pond with beautiful fish and a beautiful office in their garden! Yes, they can offer the space, because their garden is super big! Chaplin and Linneke are doing great too. Linneke is a bit shy for strangers, but as long as she sit on Mike's lap I can cuddle her. Chaplin would even sit on my lap for a while. They both are big and solidly built and above all very sweet and playful. Viv and Mike, we had a lovely day and thanks for everything!

I received another update from Frencis and Piet on their Tommy. And this time they let Tommy speak for himself;-).
"With me everything is very good and I have the time of my life with Piet and Frencis. It was already my 3rd boat trip last weekend. It was very hot inside the boat so Frencis took me out. But I was a bit scarred so I wanted to go back inside. I will safely look through the door to see what’s going on outside (photo). But I get lots of attention from everyone and I'm hardly ever alone. I like playing with each string and love to sit at the control panel which gives me a very good view (see photo).
Thanks Frencis and Piet for this update and of course for the pictures!

Again I am wondering if Macy is pregnant. Still no change in her nipples nor in size nor in color…. Coming Tuesday she would be four weeks pregnant. So I did expect some changes by now…... But I will wait and see…………

Yesterday, the veterinarian gave us a visited and all our cats - except Mia and Macy – got their yearly vaccination. Macy and Mia he didn’t give one since we are still not sure if they are pregnant. Macy we do think so since I saw 'it'. Mia on the other hand does have a spot in her neck where Brutus held her, but I have not seen or heard a successful moment;-). But it isn’t a problem since they had to be vaccinated later this year. But I do want all of them in the same month. Saves me a few trips up and down to our vet. Furthermore they are all happy healthy and well.

I received a new update on Tommy with thanks to Frencis and Piet! Frencis told me that Tommy is still doing very well. Last week he got his chip. Their veterinarian was impressed by Tommy and thought he is a big boy, since he didn’t make any sound at all. And yes, it is a very thick needle! At home Piet and Frencis spoiled him a bit for his good behavior;-). Furthermore, they asked me if he was changing teeth by now. Yes, that's right! They are now in puberty and start having new permanent teeth. And yes, they will bite a bit more in things and unfortunately in us;-).

I also received a picture of Chaplin and Linneke with thanks to Viv! You must know that I am always fond of getting updates and pictures of my former kittens. Well those two are doing very well and are still inseparable. So cute! In the beginning it was clear to me which one was who, but now Linneke grew a lot I can’t tell. Except when you see them side by side. Viv also asked me whether it was normal that Chaplin had lost some weight. Yes, that is normal since it is very hot these last few days. And with this warm weather we all are less active and therefore eat less. Just like we humans;-). Normally when I give my cats can food they are finished in no time. But now it takes them longer and they eat less. They also are losing their these last few days. And this I hate! You must comb them every day and clean twice as much! And vacuuming with this temperature is not fun to do;-). It makes me too sweaty;-)..... And the cats aren’t so fund about it either and lying on the floor to get some refreshment. But I won’t complain. It is lovely weather to go outside.

I got a few pictures of Churchill with thanks to Erica. Erica and RenĂ© recently got themselves a new kitten named Mackenzie. Churchill who normally is ‘the man in the house’ was afraid of this small one. But after a few days they are already inseparable! I didn’t expect this, but this little guy is not to resist of course. They play a lot with each other and Churchill wouldn’t even go outside which he likes so much! No, he wants to spend all his time playing, chasing and watching Mackenzie. So cute!

Yesterday Tammo and Maggy paid me a visit and they took Skyler with them. So nice to see them again and of course to see one of your former kittens again. And she is has gotten beautiful and grown a lot! Skyler was a bit afraid for my cats, but she did hit them when they came to close. So that is on the other hand very brave;-). But it was hard to get a good shot of Skyler in action. She did hide herself for my cats…..Tammo and Maggy again thanks for visiting me and for the beautiful flowers! Next time I will pay you a visited.

Mia is with Brutus since yesterday. I don’t think anything has happened yet, but at least Brutus has some company. And Mia loves Brutus. She is so sweet to him. But I do hope that they will give me a male kitten in future so Brutus can retire…..

Yesterday, Hennie and I paid Alwin a visit. It was unfortunately a short visit since there had been a traffic jam. And after our visit we had to go to Den Bosch.... But nevertheless it was very nice to see Alwin and his kitten Buddha again. Alwin has a big home and a big garden with a beautiful pond. And this time I saw his dog Shiva in person. What a sweet dog she is! Buddha is doing fine. He is so cuddly and makes funny sounds. When you cuddle him his engine starts running immediately;-). He has grown a lot since the last time I saw him. He looks very slim, but weighs a lot! Alwin again our thanks for your hospitality and your great care for Buddha!

I also received an update and photos of Tommy with thanks to Frencis and Piet! Tommy now weighs 2.5 kg. Not bad for four months of age! Frencis wrote me that Tommy is becoming a ‘man’. He loves to sit on the window-sill so he can watch everything that is going on outside. And when Frencis is digging out the litter box, Tommy loves to help her by digging for her;-). Furthermore, he uses his climbing pole in full! Sitting, sleeping and playing in it and of course using it to sharp his nails. Yes a climbing pole saves your furniture! Again thanks for the update and photos Frencis and Piet!
